Configure proxy settings on iOS devices for Wi-Fi networks using the Settings app.

Wi-Fi Proxy Configuration

Open Settings > Wi-Fi. Tap the (i) icon next to your connected network. Scroll down to HTTP Proxy section. Tap Manual. Enter Server and Port. Optionally enter username and password. Tap Save.

Auto-Proxy Setup

Instead of Manual, tap Automatic. Enter a Proxy Auto-Config (PAC) URL if your organization provides one. This automatically configures proxy settings from a script.

Limitations on iOS

iOS proxy only works on Wi-Fi networks where configured. It does not work on cellular data. Individual apps may or may not respect the system proxy setting. Safari follows it; some apps may bypass it.

Using a VPN for Full Protection

For complete device-wide proxy, use an iOS VPN app from the App Store. This routes all traffic through the proxy, including cellular data. Many VPN apps offer one-tap setup.

Testing Your Connection

After setup, open Safari and visit the IP Checker. The IP shown should be your proxy's IP, not your real one. If it shows your actual IP, the proxy configuration needs adjustment.
