Method 1: Use a Web Proxy
The simplest approach. Visit a web proxy site, enter the URL you want to visit, and the proxy fetches it for you. Your IP is hidden from the target site. Free web proxies like MasarWeb require no installation and work in any browser.
Method 2: Use a VPN
A VPN encrypts all traffic from your device and routes it through a remote server. This hides your IP from all websites and your ISP. VPNs are more comprehensive than proxies but require installation and usually a subscription.
Method 3: Use Tor Browser
Tor routes your traffic through multiple encrypted layers across volunteer servers worldwide. It provides the strongest anonymity but is significantly slower. Best for high-privacy needs, not everyday browsing.
Method 4: Browser Settings
Some browsers allow manual proxy configuration. You can set a proxy server in your browser's network settings. This only affects that browser, not other apps on your device.
Verify Your IP Is Hidden
After setting up any method, use the IP Checker tool to confirm your public IP has changed. Also run the DNS Leak Test and WebRTC Leak Test to ensure no other channels are exposing your real address.
